Enchantment

Audio-visual work combining drawing, moving image, and original sound composition, created as filmmaker, visual artist, and composer. The work premiered in a screening context at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and was later presented in an independently produced outdoor screening in Newcastle upon Tyne. Supported by Arts Council England, the project included participatory workshops with community participants in Byker, Newcastle, culminating in a public screening of participants’ animation work and documentary material created during the project. The work marked the early development of drawing processes that inform my current site-responsive research practice.
